In God, there’s nothing useless
“For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones, iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.” – Isaiah 60:17
Are there not some among God’s family that feel they are nobody? They feel ‘less’ among other children of God. But in God’s family, neither our different backgrounds, nor shape, size, colour, nor our nationality, tribe or tongue reduces any. In Him, we are one – we are the same (John 17:11, 21). He loves each child as well as he does to the other. We may indeed differ in our abilities, but regardless of this, God has given each child just as much as that child needs to function best in life and ministry, to stand out and be uniquely different. God has made us to know that with him, there is nothing impossible. He is a Big God, All Powerful, you only have not yet known what he can bring out of you until you see it manifest in your life
At times the devil subtly tells people lies about themselves or about how God feel about them which makes them feel terrible. But as long as you are still in Christ’s fold, under his care, you are a special child of God and dear to him. Even when you mistakenly go wrong, as long as you can realise your sin and ask for forgiveness, he forgives and pardons you, so imagine your heavenly Father thinking ill of you. “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
There is none useless in God’s sight because he has no useless son or daughter. When you begin to see yourself that way, it is because you are looking at yourself with your own eyes not with the eyes of God, or you see yourself with the eyes the enemy has projected in your mind. You see not with the eyes of God and you think not the thoughts of God about who you are in him. As long as you are a true child of His, “…ye are complete in him…” Colossians 2:10
Every child of God is special to God. There is no favouritism with Him, he loves all (his children) the same and each child is designed in a unique and special way to do special things for Him on this earth. The earlier this truth is realised, the better and happier we’d become.
How do you picture yourself in Him? What are your heart’s expectations? Perhaps, you’re not satisfied with the things you’ve achieved for God, you feel you’re operating below expectation for Him and you’re really not happy about that, or maybe, you feel inadequate like Moses, or you want Him to use you in a special way. If only you’ll tell Him exactly how you feel or what you wish to become for him. He is your heavenly Father and He is able to grant your request. It takes your surrenderedness and your corporation; and by His power, he will begin to bring out the best out of you
There is nothing useless in God’s hand.
