4 Key Elements to Knowing God

The four (4) key elements to knowing God are these:

🎁 The Gift of God
🕯 The Grace of God
➕ The Salvation of God

GOD is the only being that everyone should know by birth, by experience, by nature and by death. His presence is everywhere and at all times. Men and women, the young and old can say at some point in their lives that they have at least tasted a feel of him. He exists. He lives. He Rules and Reign in the affairs of men.

But the real taste of knowing God goes beyond the external experiences of him but in a personal heart experience which most people may hesitate to do so

Why do people hesitate to know God? It is because they don’t understand.

What don’t they understand?

They don’t understand the love of God
They don’t understand the Gift of God
They don’t understand the grace of God
They don’t understand the salvation of God

 

1. The Love of God.

When men understand the love of God, they begin to trust him and to the point they can confidently surrender their hearts to Him. Think about it, when someone shows genuine interest in you, you begin to in turn reciprocate your interest. So also, when men become aware of the intentions and genuineness of God’s love towards them, they will genuinely love him back in true surrenderedness.

This is the first element to knowing God. By understanding the love of God.

2. The Gift of God.

JESUS is the gift of God. Without him, we wouldn’t have a way to access and taste of the love of God. He made a way through his sacrificial death on the cross so that his blood can make atonement for man’s sin which separates him from God and bring him back by reconciliation so that his depraved heart can once again make peace with God.

Notwithstanding, even though Jesus bundled his life and gave it up for all men, only when men accept this sacrifice it truly becomes a gift.

3. The Grace of God.

The book of Titus 2:11 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men”
What do we call grace and is it available to everyone? The love of God and the gift of God is the description of the grace of God. Grace is — God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Accepting the gift of God ushers a man into the grace of God and also into the inexhaustible riches of God the Father. It is for all men and available to all because Jesus paid the price of sin for all…

The grace of God is right before you, all you need to do is reach out to it and appropriate it into your life. It is yours

When we reject his gift, we reject his grace.

4. The Salvation of God.

This verse of the scripture in John 3:16 will show you what salvation means. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That is Salvation — a preserved life. It comes when a man believes in Jesus and accept him into his life by faith.

When we believe that God loves us, we are not afraid to receive his Gift, and when we receive his gift, we receive his grace which gives us a life that is preserved both now and eternally.

Without the grace of God there is no Salvation.
